Dean holds on in down pours, is first
to take Open Championship twice
Jody Dean (68-68-74-210), the 1999 WCMA Open Division Champion, held on during nearly constant rain showers and down pours Sunday at Walnut Creek Country Club to become the first player to win the top honor twice. Dean lead Sam Strawn by four strokes heading into the final round of the 54-hole tournament. He carded a two-over 74 in sloppy conditions across the golf course, to take the tournament wire-to-wire. John Zambelli shot a 75 to take second place.

Ingram holds on for Senior title;
Hilburn takes Super Senior
Danny Ingram (69-75-79-223) took the Senior Divsion title by just one stroke over Bud King (77-69-78-224). King, who fired a 69 on saturday to get back in contention for the final round.
Jere Hilburn (75-73-77-225) and John Newsome (74-74-78-226) entered the final round tied, and Hilburn managed to beat Newsome out by one stroke to take the Super Senior Division Championship.
